Set Review: Dominaria

I hope you enjoy reading my notes for recent sets. I am a terrible Limited player. My focus is on Johnny fun deckbuilding. I am not a competitive player. It is very hard to review cards in a vacuum, and when I look back at my previous reviews, I have been laughably wrong about busted cards like Aetherworks Marvel (I stated it required too much setting up... what was I thinking?!). Enjoy!
Dominaria: White
Text: Limited battle trick.
Text: Limited flier.
Benalish Honor Guard: Minus the ability, it's a bear, which is nice. With the ability, it will most of the time get +1/+0. It would be a little better if it got the boost for every creature, and not only the legendary creatures.
Benalish Marshal: Made for a devotion deck. It does not have an easy way to protect itself (Indestructible, Hexproof), yet it comes in early enough that the bonus will help. It's a creature and an anthem combined, what's there not to like?
Blessed Light: Limited play. It comes in too late to be really impactful, yet it does exile instead of destroy, which is usually better. It will be a great limited play against a stae III Saga that is about to wipe yoou out.
Board the Weatherlight: That's a great deck manipulation card. It comes in early, digs for five, and if you have a reshuffle card, you can shuffle the other cards after you place them at the bottom of your deck.
Call the Calvary: Limited play. This effect is here at what I think is battlecruiser costing. Compare with Spectral Procession (2 or White)(2 or White)(2 or White) (Create three 1/1 white Spirit creature tokens with flying).
Charge: Great battle trick, and not just in Limited. It buffs ALL your creatures. Really great card for all sorts of situations.
D'Avenant Trapper: Historic as a selection list is better in Limited than in a broader format, such as Moderon. There are no sagas in any other set as of now, and dedicating space to artifacts and legendaries is not for every deck.
Daring Archaeologist: You still need to cast the artifact, yet that's a good efect. It only happens once when it enters the battleield (ETB). lickering it with get you the effect twice, but it gets conditional counters. The ETB is only good once if you want to keep and try to abuse the token part. Historic outside of this set is only artifacts and legendaries, and that's a much more limited set of options outside of Dominaria than within it. Blue/Artifacts is a "thing," and White/Artifacts is not, at least not before this set drops..
Dauntless Bodyguard: It seems like an expensive effect that should only be used to protect a really vaulable creature. Treated as a vanilla creature, it's a one-drop 2/1, and that's great.
Dub: A little heavy for anything other than Limited. I am sure it is much better in Knight tribal, yet Knights are not one of the major tribes.
Excavation Elephant: Another card for the White/Artifact deck that seems to be getting support in this set. I love Kicker, but on a five-drop that is not game-defining, it's just a nice bonus because any card with Kicker is better off than the same card minus Kicker. A 5WW 3/5 that nets you an artifact from your graveyard to your hand can be good, it's just not universally good.
Gideon's Reproach: Limited battle trick. The limitation is often not a big deal because for 1W within the first three turns, the creature you need to remove will likely die to a 4 hit. It's a card that will be dead in your hand late game most of the time.
Healing Grace: Limited battle trick. "by a source of your choice" is very interesting because it can be anything. The life gain is usually not useful.
Invoke the Divine: Reasonably costed battle trick, but I would like it a lot more for one less mana minus the life gain (Disenchant)..
Knight of Grace: I guess there is a White/Black Knight deck somewhere in here. I wouldn't wait for anyone else to control a black permanent. Hexproof from Black is actually useful since many of the target creature removal spells are Black.
Knight of New Benalia: OK, that's one more Knight. There really is a Knight deck in this set then. That's a solid aggro Vanilla Knight. I want to give it haste and hit with it as often as possible before it gets killed off by just about any effect, OR buff it
Mesa Unicorn: A bear with Lifelink is good in more than just Limited.
Pegasus Courser: Making another creature a flyer is a solid effect that is balanced with the low power of this card. It's not an amazing effect, still, I will take it.
Sanctum Spirit: Discarding something to protect this is an OK effect, and its a little better if I can fish said historic card with some other card, yet it does not seem that great of an effect. I would want this card to do more that is worth protecting.
Seal Away: This is a great trick against an opposing creature that is kicking butt or has a bunch of counters on it. I love that it has Flash. It reminds me of Stasis Snare (1WW Enchantment Flash When Stasis Snare enters the battlefield, exile target creature an opponent controls until Stasis Snare leaves the battlefield). This one is more conditional, yet costs less.
Sergeant-at-Arms: I love Kicker. A 4WW 2/3 that comes with two 1/1 tokens is OK. It's not earth-shattering though.
Serra Angel: Core Set plant because someone forgot to issue core sets for two and a half years.
Hype opinion (and Dominaria needs one because da interwebs are all going crazy because this set is supposed to be the best Magic set ever issued): minus the legendaries and sagas, White works, but I don't see any card that is blowing my mind right now.
