22-Postal History 1946 and later
The post World War II era, although not as varied as the World War II era, has many common usages due to the recovery of world trade. Below is an example of post World War II censorship. This cover is addressed to Oldenburg, in the British Zone, and bears a horizontal strip of three and a single of the 15cMG, most likely from the "2" paper printing. |

The 1946 to 1951 time range is a source of usages for the rare papers-the second watermark, and the unwatermarked opaque issues. Below is a cover with a vertical pair of the 25c on the second paper, 25cP2, a 1950s commemorative, and a 10cBRt. I show a detail of one of the 25 centavos stamps. |

The 40 centavos was used late in the issue, and it can be found on covers with several of the definitive series that followed the 1935-51. Belos is a cover to Little Rock, Arkansas from 1956 with three 40c1L stamps, a 1950s commemorative, and three singles of the 20 centavos red San Martin. |

This 1956 5P1L cover to France includes a 10c Brown from the last printing, as well as a 20c Red San Martin from a later definitive issue. I show elsewhere a run of 5 Pesos covers that spans the 1936-1950s era. |
