The crawler roundup between April 22 and May 5 is as follows: Google (698 pages, most on May 2, 6 unique to google), Ask jeeves/Teoma(286 pages, distirbuted throughout this time range, 21 unique to Ask Jeeves/Teoma), msnbot (590 pages, most on April 30, 10 unique to msnbot), Terraqiz (864 pages, most May 4 and May 5), and Yahoo (1035 pages, thoughout this time period, 46 unique to yahoo). Also 171 pages visited by Terrawiz and Yahoo, and only 51 pages visited by these five crawlers. Googlebot-image also crawled 687 images on April 22.
May 21 , 2005
The crawler roundup between May 5 and May 20 is as follows:
  • Several non-performing bots crawled somestamps-these crewlers don't yield any new visitors to the site; aipbot, at 685 pages, ia_archiver, with 384 pages, and Terrawiz, at 605 pages, were the top three. I would like to see these crawlers do what the successful crawlers do: point new visitors to somestamps!
  • Google visited 283 pages, msnbot 398 pages, and Yahoo 271 pages.
  • Yahoo also downloaded 17 images (is Yahoo images over the horizon?).
June 4 , 2005
The crawler roundup between May 21 and June 3 is as follows:
  • Google images downloaded 1,852 images, most on May 29 and May 30.
  • Google visited 313 pages, msnbot 503 pages, and Yahoo 967 pages.
  • Terrawiz, my favorite non-performing crawler, downloaded 807 pages.
  • Google and msn coincided in 183 pages, terraqiz and yahoo in 374 pages, google and yahoo in 161 pages, and msn and yahoo in 279 pages.
June 18 , 2005
The crawler roundup between June 5 and June 17 is as follows:
  • Google images downloaded 632 images, most on June 7.
  • Google visited 447 pages, msnbot 300 pages, and Yahoo 231 pages.
  • Main day for google was June 4. June 5 and June 15 to a lesser extent.
  • June 13 was the main day for msnbot.
  • google accessed 166 pages that msn and yahoo did not.
June 30 , 2005
The crawler roundup between June 18 and June 28 is as follows:
  • Google images downloaded 86 images, most between June 17 and June 21.
  • Ask Jeeves/Teoma visited 831 pages, Google visited 163 pages, msnbot 532 pages, and Yahoo 418 pages.
  • Main day for msn was June 19.
  • Ask Jeeves/Teoma accessed 274 pages that google, msn, and yahoo did not visit.
July 30 , 2005
The crawler roundup between June 29 and July 13 is as follows:
  • Ask Jeeves/Teoma visited 669 pages, Google 210 pages, msnbot 914 pages, Terrawiz 1,252 pages, and Yahoo 879 pages.
  • Main day for msn was July 10.
  • Ask Jeeves accessed 126 pages that none of the other crawlers accessed.
July 30 , 2005
The crawler roundup between July 14and July 27 is as follows:
  • Ask Jeeves/Teoma visited 209 pages, Google 338 pages, msnbot 255 pages, Terrawiz 1,232 pages, and Yahoo 563 pages.
  • Ask Jeeves accessed 134 pages that none of the other crawlers accessed.
  • Terrawiz accessed 487 pages that none of the other crawlers accessed.
