Details of the "dot on bottom edge of blue central design" plate variety are shown below for the "rust" specimen. In addition to the major flaw, highlighted on the left image, this stamp has small distinctive plate flaws.

The following two specimens of the "dot on bottom edge of blue central design" plate variety are "dark" printings. Each stamp has other small flaws. This plate variety is found more than once in the 2 Pesos plate.
