India Wells Fargo Bank Correspondence

This is the most common stamp found in this correspondence, and it is also one of the most common definitives the world has seen to date! I show below only the largest multiples, since by looking at almost every one of the 150 covers in the listings, you will see this stamp on cover! I purchased the 437 covers in this correspondence from eBay in two batches in January and February of 2002. All are addressed to the Wells Fargo Bank in New York City from a small number of banks in India from 1980 to 1982. Most covers are from 1982. There are 97 rates from 2.60 Rupees to 15.50 Rupees. The covers contain 2,476 stamps.
